Love or Hate?
Through chapter 6, Fania feels betrayed by her Father. Her Father read the letter written on wrapping paper that was written by Morris Lipkin. Morris displays his love for her through the letter and explains how poor and desperate he is to be united with her. Fania's Father is furious with this letter and tells Fania that this man cannot support her in any means and will never be a dependent person to be in love with. Fania's love for Morris is seen when she defends Morris and his character. This is a scene where Fania is torn between loving and hating her Father.

Great thoughts so far Ryan. I also enjoyed this scene and it makes me think about the lack of respect that parents give their kids. Good work!!
